The first day of school is approaching soon and we want your little one to be prepared and excited about their first day. Here are some tips and ideas to help you get ready!
- Meet the Teacher night and Parent Orientation: We will have a short meeting in the sanctuary and then you and your child will be dismissed to the classrooms where the teachers will be anxiously awaiting you to say hi and give you a brief tour of the classroom.
- August 30th 6pm -for all students attending school M/W, T/TH, or all four days.
- August 31st 6pm -for all students attending school T/W/TH
- The first day of school is September 1st. Our school day begins at 9:00 and ends at 2:30.
- What to bring on the first day
- a bag with your child's name on it.
- a healthy lunch you know your child will enjoy and does not require heating up.
- a small snack
- diapers and wipes if necessary
- a nap mat (available now at Walmart), small pillow, a favorite stuffed animal or lovey, and a family picture.
- a change of clothes
- Your child's teacher will send home more specific information on the first day of school.
- Take time this summer to talk to your child about school and how much fun they are going to have.
- Read, read, read daily.
