Happy New Year to all First Steps Families! It has been a long break and we have missed the children's smiles and hugs. 2010 is going to be a great year at the preschool. To start the new year off in a new way, I have started this blog for our school. Here I will write about what is going on in the preschool, upload and share photos of your children loving learning, and remind you of upcoming events. Please keep this web address bookmarked so you can reach it easily. This is my very first experience with blogging so I ask for your patience as I learn as I go. Thanks!
Upcoming Events
January kicks off with our Winter Olympics on the 13th and 14th. We have some exciting plans ready for the kids that are sure to be a hit.
January 18th is MLK day and the school will be closed in observance of this holiday.
Eyes and Ear screenings will begin at the end of this month for our four and five year old students. More information will come home on this as this gets closer.
Lastly, I would like to say thank you to all the parents and volunteers who helped with our Christmas Pagaent. What an awesome show that was! The DVD's sold out quickly but if you are interested we will have a few more for you to purchase from the front office.
